From Bad Vilbel station the S6 S-Bahn runs every 15 minutes into the centre of Frankfurt, around 20 minutes to the Hauptbahnhof; add to that the Niddertalbahn (RB 34). At this frequency, the workers reach their construction sites in Frankfurt by train, entirely without a company car.

Bad Vilbel is connected via the A661 (Frankfurter Landstrasse and Preungesheimer Dreieck junctions) and via the A5 (Friedberg junction), plus the B3 and B521 federal roads. The van is thus on the motorway towards the site without a detour.

Bad Vilbel borders immediately on Frankfurt and its industrial and commercial areas. Locally, businesses such as Hassia Mineralquellen (beverage bottling) and Stada Arzneimittel (pharmaceutical production) operate; plus the engineering firm Lahmeyer (based in Bad Vilbel, part of the Dornier Group since January 2026, formerly Tractebel Engineering; as of January 2026). For assembly teams, what counts is the short distances to production and technical businesses on site and to the construction and assembly jobs in directly neighbouring Frankfurt.

Full-range and discount supermarkets such as Aldi, Lidl and Kaufland are in the town; DIY stores such as toom are a few kilometres away in neighbouring northern Frankfurt. Materials and shopping therefore cost no long drives.

Anyone staying longer registers with the registration office within two weeks under the Bundesmeldegesetz. The city of Bad Vilbel handles this in a single appointment.

The city centre is paid parking (parking fee Monday to Saturday 9:00 to 19:00, the first 15 minutes free). For trades and commercial businesses, the city issues an exemption permit that lets company vehicles park in paid zones and residents' areas too. That way the van stands legally at the site, rather than risking tickets. There is also a car park with around 370 spaces.
